Life's shed blood,
Our hero,
Shed life's blood,
Saken for the country,
Life's shed blood.
Now that battle's done,
Now the victory we have won,
After all that,
Lives lost in blood shed,
Aye by the grace of God,
Our heroes we remember,
War,
Life's shed blood,
In that one Poppy.
