Life Of Love Poem by Zoe Elsworth

Life Of Love

Skies of lies and tears of fears
Can you hear my heart?
My love will live a thousand years
Before my will depart

In destined beauty sorrow knew
A rose will bear a thorn
My vivid heart here laid askew
In moments duly torn

Find my hand in failing light
Awaiting such a sense
Bewildered doubt in thickest night
My only true defense

In passing moments sweet regret
This still unspoken plea
A joyful pain this nearing threat
A heart forever free
