Life Is Too Short Poem by Paul Sebastian

Life Is Too Short

Life is too short
To hold grudges
To burn bridges
To be petty
To be lonely

Life is too short
To not have loved
To be unloved
To be unforgiving
To be uncaring

Life is too short
To regress in the past
To relive mistakes of past
To not make amends
To ignore lessons learnt

Life is indeed, too short
To waste in pursuits meaningless
To live a life that’s aimless
To let chances slip between fingers
To pass life without achievements

Life is too short
Live to celebrate
Life is to appreciate
Life’s worthwhile loving
Live a life of self-giving

Life is too short
There’s no second shot
Now, be your best
To God leave the rest
Only one life to live
Live a life fulfilled!

Now, be your best To God leave the rest Only one life to live Live a life fulfilled! As the 10 commandments are summarized into two.... 'Love God and love others', everything related to good living and the need for utilizing life to the maximum are beautifully encapsulated in these four lines! Very inspirational!

Hi Paul, This is such a great poem...and just the kind of reminder we all need that life is about making positive things happen, and not dwelling on losses, on the negatives. Great work.
