Life is the color of your eyes
The way they shine at me
When you laugh or when you cry
Your blue eyes
Like Saturday skies
With a touch of clouds
And we lay in the grass in summer
Contemplating the meaning of life
I see your eyes above me
In the color of your eyes
They tell me you love me
They tell me it's all right
Everything is not always okay
But with you, it is
I see those blue irises that dance in the light
And the burdens can lift from my shoulders
The sparkle of joy when we dance in the rain
The downcast of grey when you experience sadness
And then I am there for you
Life is the color of your eyes
Because you share it with me
