Life Is The Blues Poem by Mark Hopwood

Life Is The Blues

Life's a long song
They Call it the Blues
A journey through lands
You get mud on your shoes.

Life's what you make it
One mistake and you can break it
You Can give it and Take it
but you can never fake it.

It goes on and on Until one day its gone
A Life wasted, Just bitter and sweet tasted.

You can dance in a rain shower
Count your blessings every hour
Try to feel the love power
Or Hide in the corner and cower.

Life's not a joke, it's very real
It's the only thing that can make you feel
So when you sit down to eat your next meal
Just remember, what it gives it can steal.
