Life In A Nutshell Poem by Timothy muggaga

Life In A Nutshell

Rating: 5.0

I can see a rolling wave of despair,
Tending towards a perishing nation.
I can see shame and fame as if in pair,
Written on faces as though it's lotion.

I can see an ocean of tears,
Drowning souls that walk with no direction.
I can hear groans and moans of fears,
From mortals who seek for the divine's attention.

I can see hatred and vengeance
Being sowed in the struggle for survival
Man to man is now the only dependence,
Is salvation going to make a late arrival?

I see a savior, wiping away tears
Truth and eternity matching in pairs
I can hear songs of praise,
we watch, and our hopes raise

Life in a nutshell, ends in the grave.
but never shakes the believer so brave.
Because, life in truth begins at death
as mankind is saved from eternal wrath
