Life At Peril Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Life At Peril

Keep the faith alive
And live
With trust
Maintain the simple gust

Something shall turn better
With good things to hear
You will find it as best festival
With new blessings on arrival

It may pass as usual
We may take it as casual too
It has brought sad plight elsewhere
People have undergone with agony and fear

Their life is at risk and in peril
They are surrounded by evil
They might have been done to death
Or forced to live with different breathe

How many might have been killed or molested?
How many might have been tortured or tested?
We all wish them merry Christmas by heart
We feel along with them and feel very much part
