Life As A Mum Poem by Kerrie Smith

Life As A Mum

Rating: 3.0

Funny to think, how things can go.
I look at my life and what I have to show.
Beautiful girls and a handsome young man.
Weird how that was never the plan.
I don't have money or a sparkling home.
A ring on my finger but I am not alone.
I have singing and dancing maybe a fall.
kisses and cuddles for no reason at all.
Laughs and giggles and crazy tantrums.
Little kids teaching me how to do my sums.
Dirty floors and chocolate painted wall.
The dog has burst the little ones ball.
This is life and what it should be.
Happy, content and completely free.
