Life Poem by Lisa Knipe

It's been a while since I decided to write about how
I feel in a poem.

So much is going on,
Head is spinning in a circle
One direction.
My thoughts are going
Are the other.

Husband is told to come all
His medication that's he's on,
Could cause sleep apnea if he stays on it
Or cause sudden death syndrome if comes
Off it.

I don't fancy being a widow at nearly 32.

The toddler is being behaving.

Mental health is a flare up.

Doesn't life you when you're down.
I don't need anymore.

I need some good news
