Life is like a journey
And when you first embark
You are full of hopes, fears
And a newly lit spark

You don’t know where to begin
So you ask for a hand
Someone to talk to
Someone who will understand

If you see a fork in the road
You must decide which to take
Think hard about this choice
Because it will make or break

I am sorry if you fall
And no one wants to help you
But on this journey you will learn
Not everything is true

The thing that will keep you going
Will fill you up with glee
It’s the best thing in life
And is 100% free

When you meet that special someone
And you will meet them, in time
The top of the mountain is what you aim for
But it's all about the climb

The pain you will endure
Will make you stronger I guarantee
It will be unbearable at first
But you will soon agree

Life is like a journey
No matter how messed up it may get
Or how many wrong turns you take
It is one you will never forget
