LIFE............

LIFE IS A TRUTH,
A TRUTH OF A BEING,
A TRUTH WHICH SAYS THAT LIFE IS A DREAM.
LIFE………………………
IT IS LIKE AN ICE CREAM’S CREAM,
WHICH KEEPS ON MELTING TILL IT’S FINISHED.
LIFE………………………
LIFE IS TO LIVE,
AS WITHOUT IT WE CANT LIVE.
IT IS LIFE WHO CARES ABOUT US
IT IS ALWAYS PUNCTUAL LIKE THE SCHOOL BUS.
LIFE………………………
LIFE IS TWO SIDED,
BUT SOME PEOPLE THINK IT’S ONE SIDED.
YOU NEED LOVE TO LIVE,
AND YOU NEED TO LIVE FOR LOVE.
LIFE………………………
LIFE IS A TRUTH, A TRUTH OF A BEING,
A TRUTH WHICH SAYS THAT LIFE IS A DREAM.
LIFE……………………...

Poem of the Day

poet Charles Stuart Calverley

He stood, a worn-out City clerk —
Who'd toil'd, and seen no holiday,
