Lies Poem by No one anonymous

Lies

Rating: 5.0

They ask the Truth
I give it not
For my gain?
Most decidedly not.

Then why
must I lie?
To hurt
To steal
To flirt
To feel.

Again, They ask the Truth
Again, I give it not
For in my youth
It would require a sleuth.
