Lies Poem by Juan Olivarez

Lies

Rating: 5.0

You say it's not a human soul,
You hold inside your womb.
Though you conceived, you have been told,
They'll take it out in that white room.

If it's not human who's the dad?
What creature was your mate?
Stop and think, just use your head,
Before you tempt the fates.

Look inside yourself and listen,
To the lies that you've been told.
Then hear the voice of reason,
And save that tiny soul.
