Leviathan Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Leviathan

Leviathan

Two versions of same name
Religious, masterpiece of Russian
I, busy downloading, observing
In the midst radio-listening and thinking…
Articles, documentaries, Rolling Stones…

In my mind on the way to Windsor
Lanes are lines on road-page and written
Letters cars and trees on the sides
Include ever-guest; forests' fog.

On and off in Evin, and in Qasr…

See her hand giving sign
"Too close…keep distance"
Or maybe says: "back off"
I smile all alone in my car
She is old and cautious.

Playing hide-and-seek
Mountain-like are trees
Till I turn and can see.

Once inside, doors closed I see me
In village my toys goats, on donkey
In Tehran, USA and fly-high plane.

Magic are my thoughts and a carpet to remind
Getting lost on the sea; in and out, politics
Read or write and speak with people; mixing all.

In and out of my thoughts
I feel like I driving or fly?

Have seen lot, been involved
Yet nothing is written on a card
Cutter death…comes blind
Brutal I am sent to junkyard…
Similar to the arch of Kasra?
That is all, it is me…over-all.
