Letting Go Poem by moon batchelder

Letting Go

trepidation overwhelms calmness
on the precipice of communion;
at the threshhold beyond which going
one - no longer - will exist.

utter abandon to thralldom,
anxious to feel dissolution,
slight panic in remnants of ego
to surrender - unto such bliss.

calm repossessing composure
once reminded that all is illusion,
floats free of the tethers of dreaming.
unable - then - to resist

succombing to ultimate pleasure
of such an eternal reunion;
nor notion remains of redeemer,
for only the One - ever is.
