Letter: I Miss You Poem by Petra Soliman

Letter: I Miss You

I stood admist the spring breeze,
Only scrutinising the moments
Of which I tasted milk and honey,
Though the love is present,
Only a touch is missing.

I sat among people beneath the skies,
Only closed my eyes to see you,
Fantasizing of nights I hold you close,
The longing desire to belong to you,
But my heart surrendered.

I walked the surface of soil to feel the cold, realising my emotions have been drained. My soul has gone back to a cage where it escaped just a little while ago.

How could my heart be broken,
If it was not healed?
Why am I not smiling,
If I dont have you?

I miss you so,
