Letter From Jail Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Letter From Jail

Dearest my darling, your blue eyes will be
Crying so sadly ~ just waiting for me.
Soon I'll be with you and we shall be free,
'I am the innocent'...guilt could never be.
Believe me and trust me; an honest man am I
This fact will be proven long before I die.
So think of me often, wherever you go.
For you I am wearying. 'I love you so'.
