the promise you made
to last forever
a promise of lies
laying in the sand
the soothing sound of waves
the sun still hot on my face
some things last
some things end
like us
never promise forever
cause forever never lasts
i know from the pain
that i had to feel each day
you cant say that you'll feel one way forever
because you'll never know
how you broke my soul
how I trusted your love
I trusted your words.
I trusted everything
I thought you were
'lets make this last forever'
the words that echo through my mind
when I look into your eyes
of those promising lies.
