Let Us Fast
Ramadan
On earthly heaven
Just a chance to pray an almighty
The fasts performed for purity
Let us hope
And do not flop
In our endeavor
To earn favor
God shall guide
And decide
In our favor
To provide a shield or cover
Let our hands involve in distribution
On holy day celebration
For poor and needy
That shall be noble gesture really
Let Ramadan approach each year
And we take honest pledge to swear
“Love and peace must descend here”
For rich and poor nothing to fear
Let us fast
And cast
To shed apprehension
About brotherhood and tolerance in question
