Let Us Dance Poem by Gina J. Clayton

Let Us Dance

Rating: 5.0

Touch me there oh lover of my soul, let us dance across the ballroom floor of Your grace. Lead the way my brilliant Beau of majesty; guide me to the center of Thy will.

Do not let me insult You with my silence; for a ravenous damsel in distress is just beneath the surface. No one else can love her into dancing ever so freely but You. No one can know before stepping that her rhythm had been broken. No one else can keep her from falling when fear causes her to lose her stride.

I stand amazed and in complete awe as I see the gleam in Your eye toward me; and yet You are never distracted always aware of our surroundings for You are My God, You created our surrounding. You set the tone and chose the music for this entire dance.

My heart leaps with praises and joy as we close our final dance, as we bow to the audience and our eyes meet again, only to look forward to another time to dance. Yes my Lord...I will dance.
