Do not wake them
From their slumber!
Let them sleep!
Graves dug out of sand
Await to claim
Their wasted flesh and bones!
They sleep an everlasting sleep
They cannot tell
The sun from rain or snow.
Let them sleep in ignorance,
In arrogance,
In foolish pride
Call it what you may!
Let them sleep!
And wake them not!
They cannot wake...
They are dead!
Wake not the dead!
Wake not the dead... the dead must sleep eternally!
Let them sleep!
