Let The Gift Flow Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Let The Gift Flow

your potential
is brilliant,
realized is one

of your exceptional
poems, subtle changes
are a development

in technique tone;
remember
time rich patience

is frustrating
awaited sometimes
necessary,

added depths
will come naturally
if not forced

with experience,
which means
years of writing...

exceptional
cannot be learned,
exceptional

is, no time limit,
old young, talent
recognizes

no age barriers
poet greatest fan
be still patient,

let the gift flow;
write when you feel good,
exhausted writing

is ok when on a roll,
but tired ill bored drained
when starting produces

flat convoluted writing
instead write rolling thunder
write universal wonder
