Let's Mend Our Friendship Again Poem by Ruma Chaudhuri

Let's Mend Our Friendship Again

Rating: 4.8

Hi, let's come, to mend our relation
And be a part of this modern civilisation.
Two stitches up and two stitches down
Then it may look like a crown.

As it is stitched, so we should not much depend
Otherwise, it may tear up again.
So, like before, we may act like friend
And just talk, smile and that's the end.

What a wonderful poem this is! The poem exudes vibes of reconciliation with such a polite but warm invitation that it would be difficult for the addressee to decline. I am sure, the call for mending fences will not go unheeded.
