Let's Be Positively Civilized Poem by Sandra Feldman

Let's Be Positively Civilized

Chose among the flowers,
The ones that you prefer,
Concentrate on Beauty's gate,
Open, do not make it wait,
Of bad judgment, beware.

Negatively looking,
Is nothing but a stare,
It gives no light,
Negative sight,
Moves no one, anywhere.

Forward we must always go,
Even if we do not know,
If efforts will be bare,
Even if we often know,
That most of life's, Unfair,

Forward we must always go,
And Civilize our Act,
'Barbarism' is a time,
We really don't want back!
