Let Me Love You

Let me love you sweet princess
Softly like a tender lily of sweet essence
Flowing freely amidst life mire
While the music harmonizes from the lyre
When sunlight beams upon your amazing purple
All I see is beauty that does sparkle

Let me hold you flawless angel
Closely and firmly like a bottle and its label
Rosy jasmine, vanilla, let me feel your scent
As it stoops to hypnotize this amiable gent
When rainfall pours upon your lovely features
All I feel is love in different pictures

While this beautiful dream lasts
Let me wake into bountiful blasts
Redeeming the long time awaiting
O'er the reality of love debating
Let love take the lead
Then we follow its bid

Poem of the Day

poet Paul Laurence Dunbar

The mist has left the greening plain,
The dew-drops shine like fairy rain,
The coquette rose awakes again
Her lovely self adorning.

The Wind is hiding in the trees,
