Let Me Live Poem by Sankar Sarkar

Let Me Live

Rating: 0.5

Let me live
I want to live
A tiny sapling told
Crying lifting head
Among the garbage
Let me breathe!

A sweet twig
Begged the storm
Moving her head
‘Don’t destroy me
Let me live!

Being wrapped in shame
Darling bud requested
Naughty bees not to
Molest, let me charm
The world with smell
Let me flourish!

With tearful eyes
Little creek invoked,
Not hinder me from
Murmuring,
Let me run!

Sweet nestling
Plead the hawk
Not to kill her,
Let her live
To hug countless
Sunny morning!

Green forest
Entreats the civilized,
Not kill for your joy,
Let me live for all
And play with air!

Like pregnant rose
Young lady got scared
Of the eager hands
In dark, and entreat
Crazy god, let me live
For the light!

Throbbing heart wants to live
Holding a assured finger
Rather a cute one,
Mother does it for instilling
Confidence to grow up slowly,
As the soil saves the beings
From spoil amid nourishing ever

I want to live! No matter the circumstances of life. Yes, we all want to live. Nice work.

I see this a plea on behalf of all the downtrodden little things and beings of the earth. It is well-written and sincere and well worth the read.
