Let me be your sunshine
to warm your weary brain

Let me stop the rain
from pouring in your heart

Let me be your candle
to light your blackest dark

Let me be your friend
who'll treat you like a gem

Let me be your comet
that streaks across the skies

Let me be your diamond
add sparkles to your eyes

Let me be your honesty
I will tell you no lies

Let me be your moonbeam
a soft and gentle gleam.

Let me be the center
the galaxy, universe

Let me be this line
in your poetry verse

Let me be your knight
in shining tempered armor

Let me be the shield
for you to run for cover

Let me make you smile
that stretches for a mile

Let me be your color
on your blue blue day

Let me bring you joy
and laughter every day

Let me be your mate
to fill up your soul

Let me be your arrow
and shoot the final goal

Let me love you always
Let me play a part
