For I know where I belong
In my heart I reside
Selfish to my needs
Jealous of my being

Let me be free
Free to fly the skies
And soar high above the clouds
Like the eagle with wings spread apart

In the clouds I soar
Elevated above all reach
High above all hurt
Beyond the reaches of man's embrace

Cold and dark
Are the clouds
I soar above
Beyond the tempest

Free and gay
Shall I fly the skies
As I soar high
In the skies

Here's my cry
