Let It Grow Poem by Joshua Gilchrist

Let It Grow

Fire burns in my heart because of the mysterious ways we get to know each other
Seems like yesterday we first met, yet seems like I knew you forever ago
The things that change every moment from day to day, hour to hour
Talking and laughing as our hearts grow

Different places where we reside, far but yet so close
I wouldn’t know if we could be for each other
But friendship is worth more than a kiss from a loved one
True friends stay with each other even if love didn’t
Let it grow.

For each season have its moments
And each day have a peace to it
That shines like a magnificent light
Never ending, but still growing

Don’t stop trusting your heart
Let it be a treasure worth everything
Starting out small...
But growing
