'Let It Be' Said The Beatles Poem by Chuy Amante

'Let It Be' Said The Beatles

'Let it BE, ' said the Beatles
while using pipes and needles,
the establishment wanted us to think
These smelly hippies! no good, with their love-peace
and they're all on evil weed-
with it's foul stink!

Let it BE was no low thought,
it came from a very high spot,
in George's heart was
indeed The Flame!

Let man live with man,
no changing the other
and peacefully,
'let it BE'

Offer grace and love
like Mother Mary

and peacefully
we will 'let it be'

Did you intentionally misspell Beatles?
