Leaving You Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Leaving You

Rating: 3.0

Enough is enough
So I'd depart from you permanently
Can't keep holding onto a dream
You cheated me into believing you were faithful
Lacking love no loyalty
Abused mentally why?
What was your reason?
Don't explain what can't be justified
It doesn't make it right
Niether should I stay, Why?
When you cared little about me
Taken you back would leave me frustrated
I'd played the fool once but never again
My Heart will ache for awhile until I can fully mend
