Leave Nought To Chance

Seek out the truth whilst Christ is near
Reach out as God has planned
For death can any time appear
And take us by the hand

“Too late” could be the tragic call
In sight of Heaven’s gate
But when our soul begins to fall
We’ll know too well our fate

The time is now; the truth to greet
Before The Lord’s return
When all but Christ is obsolete
And only fit to burn

To burn with sin, smoulder with shame
Eternally to grieve
Craving for death in any name
Yet never to receive

But who receive God’s Lamb as Lord
By grace can now rejoice
We’ll never see the judgement sword
Salvation’s now; our choice

Life’s gift is free to all the earth
The price has long been paid
Through Jesus’ death, through second birth
Our days will never fade

Leave not to chance The Father’s grace
Make now; through Christ your plea
For when The Reaper shows his face
Time’s gone to bend the knee

The time’s right now, right here today
Call Jesus whilst He’s near
With contrite heart just kneel and pray
Then see how soon He’s here
