Leave Me Alone Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Leave Me Alone

Leave me alone. Your constant chatter exasperates me
Your mouth running is all I see
constantly talking as I keep on walking
I'm nonchalant about your conversation
I don't even care
You keep on talking, I pretend you're not there
your voice follows me, it gives me a scare
Stop walking and go sit in a chair
Stop running your mouth
Before I hit you down south
Leave me alone and go talk on the phone
Don't say no, Don't give me that tone
I couldn't imagine what it will be like
If I had me a clone
keeping talking, go ahead, don't be surprised
when you find yourself dead
