Leave Poem by Courtney Beaudry

Leave

Far from these hateful eyes
No more phoney disguise
Land where they rule no more
No more being unsure

Sprout wings, fly away
Leave this horrid place
As I fly, I will find
No more them, no more lies

I will take you far from here
Then, me and you, will have
Nothing to fear
We don't need them, we need no one
But ourselves

Love is all I need
But, yet, they can't see
How we need each other
How we want one another

I want you so bad
Nothing matters after that
