Leap And Grip Poem by Tamisha Bellamy

Leap And Grip

Baby squirrel, make it easier for yourself
There is no need to climb or leap too fast
Steady.......
Steady.......
Focus........
Focus........

I do nothing for you- I am just here- the tree
You can't be me
Feel how it feels to be at the top- to be number one like I am
Imagine the experience of being experienced

Baby squirrel, there is truth to what I say
There is no need to change who you are
Change what you do and how you do
Leap and Grip
Leap and Grip

Hold on to my limbs
Indeed, there is pressure all around
Do not let let the birds and the wind distract you from your goal
Trust that I know how to grow
Trust that I will not let you trip
Go young squirrel, go
Leap and Grip
Leap and Grip

I master in success
I am a testiment of strength, will, and accuracy

Young squirrel, meditate on this lesson that I teach
Fear and doubt develops in the beginning of all things, and naturally lies within
If you fall, you will be the cause of your own defeat in the end

This I can assure you is simple enough, so give me no lip, and leap and grip
Leap and Grip
Leap and Grip
