Lawn Mower Races Poem by Ronnie Terry

Lawn Mower Races

Hear the roar of the engines
Smell the sweet odor of fuel,
Boy don’t them driver’s suits
Really, really look cool?

Hear the crowd a cheering
See that flag a waving,
Get the visor set on your helmet
This is why I have been saving.

You feel the wind on your face
See the crowds excited faces,
Just this moment, there is nothing
More exciting than these Lawn Mower Races!
