Law Of Nature Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Law Of Nature

An innocent radiance, Unaware of dangers,
Inborn happiness, peaceful;
Once this was a child, and now it's gone.

Standing like a barrier,
Huge and heedless,
Symbolizing strength, power;
Once this was a mighty oak,
And now it's gone.

Beauty to behold,
Turning with sparkling energy,
Appearing constant, immovable;
Once this was a star,
And now it's gone.

WIld in it's very nature,
Offering no hope, Degrading to a human, a life.
Once this was a war,
And now it's gone.

Lacking peacefulness,
Without freedom or justice,
Trapping individuals and itself;
This is a society And it will go.
