Later On, O Pygmy Fool Poem by Melanie Weeks

Later On, O Pygmy Fool

Later On, Pygmy Fool

So many tall tales
For a short little man.
So many big hurts
You gave to me.

I went to see my uncle
He said'Because of that pygmy fool,
You were being different.
He hurt you all the time,
And now he's just lost
The best thing he ever had.'

My grandma said, ' you're 'friend' was always jelous
Of the good life you had.
She has money,
And bright flashy things;
They're both big fat liers.
You're better without them.'

So later on,
You stupid pygmy fool.
Your games are now over
I'm gonna be just fine.
So leave me now,
And never come back.

(Just a note to readers: My fianse broke up with me for my 'best friend'. My (ex) fiance and I were having issues for months before the break-up and he was hurting me emotionally. So when I told my uncle that he and I broke up, he started dancing and singing 'ding dong the pygmy's gone! ' I had to write a poem. Just had to. Idk if its anygood, but this is it.' -Melanie Kay Weeks
