Later Poem by SUSHANA VITTALDEV

Later

Later, after the compromise,
Our bodies resumed their boundaries!
I suddenly feel like I have been engulfed,
Engulfed by the waves of confusion!
How do I understand these feelings?
Should I feel or not?
Am I right or wrong?
Again I feel,
Our fingers and lips admitting ownership!
Nothing changes!
Except that, the wind blows aimlessly!
The birds have stopped humming!
I am pleading!
I am crumpling!
I am breaking!
And the wolf in thy self,
Lays down drifting!
