Last yesterday

If I learn by tomorrow
This is my last yesterday
I've seen between the seems of dying dreams
of the dying souls in front of me
just living on
but not living on

You haven't changed at all
but you've lost everything you where before
and now your just living on

Tattered holes within your soul
letting out the heat and warmth
slowly
and your growing colder
but not much older

Who are you now?
That is the golden question
one day you'll wake up and understand
But that day is not today
it may not be tomorrow

You look around
Your all alone

Maybe then you'll find
You never really changed at all

Poem of the Day

poet Paul Laurence Dunbar

The mist has left the greening plain,
The dew-drops shine like fairy rain,
The coquette rose awakes again
Her lovely self adorning.

The Wind is hiding in the trees,
