Last Man Standing Poem by Bill Cantrell

Last Man Standing

Rating: 5.0

Increments in eternity,
These were the cobblestones of my days
How quickly they go forgotten,
Seems worthless in many ways
What does a man show for his steps,
When a generation passes him by?
Life has played a joke on me,
And I really don't know why
