Last Laugh Poem by Pradip Chattopadhyay

Last Laugh

Came the first one
A spell of brief rain
In the summer heat
But wasn’t seen again!

The one that followed
Veiled in mystery
Seemed an elusive
Piece of artistry!

There was another
Would rather do without
Like a rough weather
Soon blew out!

Thought it end of story
And I had enough
Came one in reigning glory

She had the last laugh!
