Last Day Poem by Lauren Saari

Last Day

Rating: 4.5

The cloud were all dark
Dumping rain down
And we stood in the park
with no one else around

I looked to a boy
with no smile on his face
not a single sign of joy
could be seen or traced

He grabbed my arm
and stared in my eyes
I could see his cheeks get warm
and he looked like he could cry

His firm tightened
what was he going to do?
I started to get frightened
as his furry grew

I had told him already
He’s not the one for me
I did not want to go steady
We were not meant to be

That’s not good enough
For this kind of guy
He’s seen as so tough
But so broken inside

I got my first hit
Right in the jaw
I don’t like this one bit
I hope someone saw

But he punched and he squeezed
Until I could take no more
Yet he was still displeased
Not thinking of my soars

He threw me to the ground
And just walked away
And that’s the way I was found
The very next day

Great poem Lauren. But you would never be beaten to death. I'm such a good sister that i would probably follow you and then save you. Dont pretend like its never happened before. haha... but actually.. anyway.. good job. keep it up.
