Last Chapter Poem by Ana Monnar

Last Chapter

Rating: 5.0

If real true love is not selfish
And true love is not counting faults
Then there never existed true love
Under the moon dancing a waltz
For too many times self-seeking
Egotistical to extreme
Disgusted were all the partners
Like paddling a boat upstream
Put to rest that book’s last chapter
Nothing good will come from that mess
Don’t get gobbled by that raptor
Why in heaven would you regress?
Move on to a greener pasture
Where both partners cherish each other
Less ignorant and more cultured
What is in stored for the future?
Exploring a new adventure
Often trading a kind gesture
Gratitude from one another
