Lamps That Rattle Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Lamps That Rattle

Lamps
Lamps that rattle
In the night
In the cold wind
In the frost
That house frontage faces
Peels.
And in this sad funereal
Dirge of still
Rattle the lamps.
The feast is over.
