Lament On The Christ: Holy Lamentum Iv

PROLOGUE

Here, comely to Christ our lament
Lots of love in whom we belove
In Golgotha, His life was spent
For us, love is God; God is love.

This love no man on earth compare,
This God no man on earth- - will dare,
Lament our dear beloveth; Him-
The christ, whom went down to death's grim.
In sainthood we shall rest
Shalom and remain blest.

LAMENTUM

I
For our dead sins Christ died to pay
His feet had hell's coven to comb
His dear self thrice laid in a tomb
In stealth for a three days stay.

II
Gentle Christ with thorns on His head
He endur'd the whips and the scorns
He endur'd the deign crown of thorns,
And every blood to be shed.

III
Oh, the belov'd heavenly son,
Of torn raiment; and broken bones,
Of the sins of men weigh in tonnes
Like a knapsack He carried on.

IV
Here, comely the heavenly knight,
The one in whom the world chastise
The one betrayment by a price,
The one resurrect'd to the light.

EPILOGUE

In sainthood we shall rest
Shalom and remain blest.

To heaven our belove Christ went
On high Jerusalem above,
Whence shows His love and commitment
For us, love is God; God is love.
