Lajbnic

I’m waiting for the day
The way the night is waiting
The way the field is waiting
The bud of the first morning
And I’m not waiting in vain
For indeed
This world the best of
All the worlds it is
For such it’s been God created

Ja čekam dan
Kao što čeka noć
Kao što čeka polje
Pupoljak prvog jutra
I ne čekam zalud
Jer zaista
Ovaj svijet
Najbolji je od svih svjetova
Kakvim ga stvori Bog

poet Pablo Neruda

I want you to know
one thing.

You know how this is:
if I look
at the crystal moon, at the red branch
of the slow autumn at my window,
if I touch
