Lady Luck Poem by Francis Duggan

Lady Luck

We make our own luck some are known to say
But lady luck she does not work in this way
She can turn you into an instant success
And rid you of your worries of financial stress,
Yes lady luck on anybody can smile
She can turn your life of despair to a life that's worthwhile
She can turn you from a poor person into a millionaire
And rid you of your every financial care
Just to keep living you need lady luck on your side
By her dreams of happiness have been destroyed
If lady luck is against you then pity you for your woe
For unhappiness in your life only can grow
Far more powerful than money lady luck 'twould seem
She can leave you deflated or build up your self esteem
