Lacy Poem by Justin Gildow

Lacy

As children
We played together
We played on our own
We shared many good times
We shined on in our own way

Years have passed now, Lacy
And it feels like forever now
I wonder where you are now
And what you're doing now
I wonder if you think of me
If you've thought of me at all
After all these years

I'm still living life free
I wonder if you're married
I have nieces
Do you have children?
I'm still searching for a love
Still searching for her
Are you married?

My girl friends have helped me along, Lacy
I'm incredibly grateful to them
They know that

Wherever you are now
I hope you're happy where you are now
