Lacandon Conception Poem by Madrason .

Lacandon Conception

If
everything on earth
is intertwined
vined by the roots
of sufficience
combined
feeding
the need.

And If
this tree of life
would drop by force
no intercourse
just a crying call
no Gods to intervene
it would take down
within it's fall
everything
with all it's arms
which used to give
for it was
Heaven sent.

Thus, If
we won't defend
those frail silk lines
Anansis' work
would fail to send
the dreams it weft
would be at theft
and just become a jail
the roots would rot
become a grave
from all it gave
a nightmare without
end.
